Prepare For the Colder Weather
Your HVAC system and drafts are going to be on peoples mind in the winter so make sure they are running great and your drafts problems are corrected. Charge you air filters, add some weather stripping, clean/inspect your chimney if you have a fireplace, etc. If you need some new doors or windows, now is the time.
Don't Forget to Add Some Curb Appeal
Your grass will probably be yellow and your tree's leaves will be falling so keep everything as tidy as possible. Get that last mow in and make sure your leaves are raked. Home Selling Tips - A National Association of Homebuilders Study Shows that Homebuyers Want Energy Efficiency

At one point during the last great housing boom, home buyers were looking for media rooms, wine cellars, and large expansive bonus rooms. Those days are gone and present day homebuyers are looking for more practical things like energy efficiency and storage per a new study released by the National Association of Homebuilders called “What Home Buyers Really Want.”
